300-hr/Continuing Education Yoga Teacher Training Program

This has been in the cooker for a long time, and it’s finally all coming together! I remember the very first group of trainees I led in a 200-hr program were asking me, “Will you do a 300-hr program?”  This was 2015-16, and I said, “I need at least 3 years.”  Well, here we are, about 3-4 years later, and it’s ready to birth!

This is an opportunity to bring Devotion and Bhakti into your teaching, liberate your unique teaching voice, celebrate your self, the tradition of yoga, and to honor and expand your skill set as a leader in the tradition.

There are some unknowns as to how next year will unfold with the current pandemic crisis.  However, I am moving forward for now, in hopes that we can begin this program together in the Fall, continue some of it virtually, and extend later if need be to do the bulk of it in person.

THE FORMAT:

11 weekends over 13 months

Program will run September 2020 – September 2021.  To gain a certificate for the 300-hr designation as a Yoga Teacher, the entire program must be completed.  This will be 11 3-day weekend modules (Friday-Sunday), plus outside work (including personal practice, teaching practicum, and reading/writing/creative assignments.)  We will most likely take December and July off, so that means 1 weekend/month for a year, with two months off.

For those not wanting 300-hr certification, any of the weekend modules are open for Continuing Education/CEUs/general interest.  This means, one could sign up for 2-3 of the workshops, but not use the program for an advanced teacher training through Yoga Alliance.
